Dan Goldfarb


Dan Goldfarb is a Founder and Managing Partner of Mendon Venture Partners, a venture investments and strategic advisory firm focused on financial technology companies and incumbent banks.

Mr. Goldfarb is also a Portfolio Manager at Mendon Capital Advisors Corporation (“MCAC”), a long/short event driven financial-sector fund founded in 1996. Prior to Mendon Venture Partners, Mr. Goldfarb was the lead portfolio manager for a small cap product affiliated with several MassMutual subsidiaries, including Oppenheimer Institutional and Babson Capital.  Additionally, for over fifteen years, he served as the senior equity analyst specializing in financial services companies for the several products he managed.  Mr. Goldfarb began his career on Wall Street as an equity analyst working at Drexel Burnham Lambert and Smith Barney specializing in community banks. 

Mr. Goldfarb currently serves on the Board of Directors of both Green Check Verified and BaseCap Analytics.

Mr. Goldfarb earned his BA in political science from Hobart College and his MBA in finance from Vanderbilt University.  Additionally, he is a CFA charterholder and is the treasurer of the Bank Analyst Association of Boston.
